About the role: To manage and grow a large portfolio of high-net-worth rural clients across the Region in accordance with Bank and Regional goals for profitability, client satisfaction and credit quality. The Head of Relationship Management will be responsible for actively driving business development and profitability across the State, through coaching, mentoring and fostering a culture of best practice relationship initiatives amongst State Account Managers. In conjunction with the State Manager, the Head of Relationship Management will work towards meeting or exceeding the State’s revenue targets. To support in the drive to have Account Managers (i.e., Rural & Senior Rural Managers) spending 80% of their time with clients and potential clients. Such to further grow and strengthen the relationships at the kitchen table. Some of the Key Responsibilities include: Develop State and Branch wide plans for business development Develop and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth clients across the State In conjunction with Branch & State Managers, manage the performance of the Account Managers throughout the State relating to business development and sales In conjunction with Branch & State Managers, lead and motivate an effective and engaged State team of Account Managers in relation to business development and sales. Develop and retain key relationship staff in collaboration with Branch and State Managers. Proactively engage in the selection and hiring of relationship managers across the branches, in collaboration with Branch and State Managers. Identify with and actively contribute to the identification and implementation of the Country Banking AU business strategy. Contribute as a member of the State leadership team. Have input into the State budget for revenue and balance sheet movements. In conjunction with the State Manager, ensure that the region achieves objectives relating NPS, Client Margins, Asset Growth and Asset Quality. Management oversight for the State in the preparation and implementation of marketing and business plans. Grow number of clients by actively leading and engaging in business development. To be successful in the role, you will have: Senior leadership experience in Rural Banking or similar area Proven Leadership experience, managing and leading a team Affiliation/thorough understanding of the rural clients, gained through experience Strong knowledge of the rural industry Knowledge of specialised financial product Ability to drive, motivate, manage and lead a team, with strong leadership skills Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor employees Ability to influence What we're proud to offer you: Wellbeing leave.
