Join the visionary team at Tamnoon and help us shape the future of cloud security! As the Head of Remediation Research, you will serve as the driving force behind Tamnoon’s remediation intelligence. Equal parts cloud security practitioner, automation builder, and customer-focused leader, you blend strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You’ll roll up your sleeves daily—diving into workflows, building logic, supporting escalations—while guiding a high-performing team toward world-class remediation outcomes. You will partner deeply with Product and Engineering, and ensure our research, investigation processes, and remediation frameworks are sharp, scalable, and rooted in real customer needs. What You Will Get to Do: Leadership & Hands-On Execution Lead the Remediation Research team through a blend of strategic direction and hands-on technical work Roll up your sleeves to support and resolve escalations, troubleshooting complex customer challenges directly Allocate workloads effectively, ensuring smooth daily operations across research, triage, and investigation Guide customers through complex cloud security workflows and remediation steps Lead weekly/bi-weekly customer sessions focused on measurable remediation outcomes Manage post-sales technical communication and deliver QBRs Build a culture grounded in technical depth, curiosity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement Research, Product & R&D Collaboration Provide a continuous stream of remediation insights, patterns, and improvement opportunities to Product & Engineering Validate remediation logic, edge cases, and decision flows to ensure accuracy and scale Influence and contribute to new feature development based on frontline findings Build and refine automation playbooks, pipelines, and frameworks Conduct deep investigations into cloud security findings and help define how remediation scales for customers What You Will Bring: Practitioner-level background in cloud security, SOC, IR, DevSecOps, or detection engineering Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP architectures and remediation patterns Bonus: experience with CNAPP platforms (Wiz, Cyera, CrowdStrike, etc.) Ability to contribute to automation (Python, IaC, CI/CD, serverless technologies) Proven experience leading technical teams and scaling operational processes Excellent communication skills with comfort in customer-facing technical conversations A hands-on, “let’s figure this out” leadership style — combining technical depth with the ability to guide, mentor, and build In addition to base compensation, Tamnooners receive a competitive benefits package, including: Flexible PTO, paid sick days, and paid parental leave 401k plan Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance — 100% coverage for all employees Health savings and flexible spending accounts Remote First Community Training and career development programs Tamnoon is proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace and affirmative-action employer.
