People2people are recruiting for a a well-established and forward-thinking law firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Residential Property to lead their Residential Property department. This role is ideal for a proactive and skilled legal professional who thrives in a leadership position, managing a team while ensuring operational excellence. The successful candidate will be a specialist in Residential Property Law, confident in handling all legal aspects of property transactions, and providing expert advice on legal issues, contracts, and financial matters related to buying and selling property.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fully qualified Solicitor, CILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a busy residential conveyancing team as a fee earner.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing or supervising a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record in business development, ideally with established contacts in the local property sector.
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.
• A passion for developing and mentoring junior staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 4 years PQE in Residential Property Law.
• Strong previous and proven experience in providing property law advice.
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience within a legal department is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills and adaptability to an innovative legal environment.
