JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to take on the role of Head of Room for our 2-year-olds in our brand new nursery at Hartley Farm Winsley. This position is vital in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, planning engaging activities, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education are met. We are a Farm based nursery with a love for play based learning, we support our staff to grow with us as a company!

REQUIREMENTS

• A recognised qualification in Early Years qualification at level 3

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
• Supervise and support staff in their daily activities, ensuring a cohesive team environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor children’s progress and development, maintaining accurate records and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practices in early years education.
• Organise and participate in parent meetings, open days, and other community events to engage families in their children’s learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
