JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Head of Sales & Business Development for Germany, you’ll be a key leader at PaulCamper, responsible for shaping and executing our growth strategy in our core market. You will drive sales, expand our owner and renter community, and build strategic partnerships to solidify our position as the leading RV marketplace. This is a critical role that requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and inspirational leadership. You’ll report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and be based in our Berlin headquarters.

Job Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
o Develop and Execute Strategy for the German market: Create and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to accelerate growth across Germany. This includes identifying new revenue streams and market opportunities.
o Own Business Performance: Take full ownership of German market KPIs, including gross bookings, fleet growth, renter acquisition, and revenue targets. Analyse performance data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
o Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global product, marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy.
2. Sales & Business Development
o Drive Owner and Renter Acquisition: Lead initiatives to onboard new RV owners and attract more renters to the platform, ensuring a healthy marketplace balance.
o Build Strategic Partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and secure high-impact partnerships with tourism boards, camping associations, RV manufacturers, and other relevant players to expand our reach.
o Inspire a High-Performance Mindset: Mentor, and work with a small, agile team of customer success and marketing team members in a cross-functional team. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity.
3. People Leadership
o Recruitment and Development: Attract top talent to the team, and provide ongoing coaching and performance management to support their professional growth.
o Inspire and Motivate: Lead by example, fostering a positive, results-driven, and collaborative environment.
