QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in SaaS, sustainability, constructuon / waste or Circuar Economy
  • Proven track record of hitting targets and securing high-value deals.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities and driving them through to success.
  • Natural communicator and negotiator, skilled at building trust with senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the UK sustainability landscape and circular economy principles.
  • Comfortable traveling across the UK and to Amsterdam as needed.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and driven to succeed in a high-performance environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental studies, or a related field.
  • Industry: SaaS, sustainability, circular economy, Waste, Construction
  • Years of Experience: 10+ years in sales or business development.
  • Skills: Expertise in business development, relationship management, and strategic sales leadership.
  • Transferable Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Language: Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Startup Experience: Experience working in a Start-up / Scale - up
Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Own the sales strategy for the UK market, driving growth and revenue generation.
  • End-to-End Sales: Take the lead from prospecting to closing, consistently hitting ambitious targets.
  • Partnership Development: Build strong, lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and position EME as the go-to partner for sustainable material exchange.
  • Market Growth: Identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends to expand EME’s presence across the UK.
  • Client Success: Ensure long-term satisfaction by acting as a trusted advisor, keeping clients engaged and fostering repeat business.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with our HQ in Amsterdam to align on strategies and share success stories.
