About the role: This is one of the most exciting pure sales leadership opportunities in Australia right now. Skip's broker channel is growing fast, and we need a proven builder to take the wheel - scaling our Sales team from 4 to 15 people nationally by year end and building the GTM engine that powers Skip's next phase of growth. We want someone who has lived and breathed high-performance sales in FinTech, SaaS, or high-growth tech - someone who has built winning teams before, knows what elite GTM execution looks like, and is hungry to do it again at a company with serious momentum. That said, you won’t be alone. You’ll be working alongside an industry veteran with deep relationships and networks who will be focused on expanding and building our Aggregator partnerships, maximising the top of the funnel so you can do your best work. You will set the standard, build the culture, hire the best people, and create the systems that make your team unstoppable. You will partner directly with our engineering team to build AI-powered sales automations that give your Sales team members an unfair advantage. Key Responsibilities: Building, scaling, and leading a national remote Sales team to 15 by year end while we expand our broker footprint by +5x Drive broker acquisition and activation at scale - building the outreach motions, onboarding sequences, and engagement programs that turn brokers into active, loyal Skip advocates. Attracting and onboarding top Sales talent across all states, building a remote-first team with a winning culture from day one Work with our engineering teams to deploy AI-powered automations across the full broker sales cycle - outreach, onboarding, pipeline management, and performance reporting Own and maximise our Gong implementation — using conversation intelligence to coach reps, identify what winning looks like, and replicate it across the team Build and run a best-in-class sales training and coaching program - raising the bar for every rep and developing the next generation of sales leaders inside Skip Design the performance framework - targets, KPIs, incentive structures, and feedback loops that drive the right behaviours, reward high performance, and build accountability Work cross-functionally with credit, marketing, and product to ensure the broker experience at Skip is fast, seamless, and genuinely better than anywhere else in the market Report to founders with full pipeline visibility, conversion data, broker engagement metrics, and team performance reporting What you will bring: 8–12 years of experience in sales leadership, GTM, or commercial roles from fintech, SaaS, or high-growth tech - you thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments A proven track record of building and scaling sales or Sales teams from scratch — you have done this before, you know exactly what it takes, and you loved every minute of it A passion for high performance - you set the bar high, you coach relentlessly, and you do not accept mediocrity from yourself or your team Hands-on experience with Gong or equivalent conversation intelligence tools — and a genuine ability to turn call data into coaching gold A strong point of view on AI and automation in sales — you see technology as the ultimate force multiplier and have already used it to build smarter, faster sales teams Strong people management capability — you know how to hire exceptional people, develop them quickly, and build a culture where winning is the norm Thinking that goes beyond headcount — you understand how systems, enablement, incentives, and culture combine to build a truly elite distribution team Comfort and excitement about operating in a lean, fast-moving startup environment where you are building, not maintaining Mortgage or lending industry experience is not required Why join us: Strong performance-based remuneration - we back our people to win big, and when you do, you will be rewarded accordingly ESOP - we want you invested in Skip's success, because this is not just a job, it is an opportunity to build genuine long-term wealth as Skip scales Build a national sales team – 15 by year end.
