Are you an experienced sales leader who thrives in a hands-on role, leading by example while driving strategic growth? Do you have a passion for building high-performing teams and fostering strong customer relationships at the executive level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Head of Sales / Sales Director to spearhead the development of a new sales organization within Posti.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our team of Key Account Managers, driving new customer acquisitions and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our customer-centric approach and ensuring that we deliver on our promise: responsibly delivering what matters, on your terms.
You will be part of our e-Commerce and Delivery Services (eCD) sales leadership team, working alongside talented colleagues in a dynamic and supportive environment. We also offer competitive benefits of a solid, big company, opportunities to grow as a professional and flexible ways of working.
In this role you will report to VP Sales, eCD.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales organization in line with Posti’s leadership principles.
  • Develop and nurture trusted relationships with key decision-makers in our most strategic customer accounts.
  • Drive new business growth and expand opportunities with existing clients through a strong commercial mindset.
  • Work hands-on with your team, leading from the front while maintaining a strategic view on business development.
  • Ensure an outstanding customer experience by overseeing seamless onboarding and account management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and drive growth.
  • Act as a champion of commercial excellence, always staying two steps ahead to proactively drive results.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven track record in commercial leadership roles, with hands-on experience in sales management.
  • You hold a relevant university degree and have at least 5+ years of experience in sales or sales management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower your team.
  • Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a presence that builds trust and credibility.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a results-driven, growth-oriented approach.
  • The ability to challenge conventional thinking and bring fresh perspectives to both Posti and our customers.
  • Experience in logistics or related industries is an advantage.
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English is required.
