Description

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Sales to lead our wholesale distribution channel. This individual will be responsible for identifying new distributors, engaging them to promote Jacuzzi products, and swiftly increasing sales from these partnerships. They will collaborate with our existing distribution partners to pinpoint opportunities for ongoing growth through showrooms and trade agreements. The Head of Sales will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities in the private label, hospitality, and builder sectors, with the objective of successfully closing a significant proportion of these deals. Additionally, this role will serve as a senior leadership position, adept at rapidly transforming our sales methodologies and expanding the sales team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and seek an opportunity to expedite the growth of an established business. They will demonstrate initiative and proactively engage in their responsibilities without awaiting directives. Candidates with extensive experience in plumbing wholesale will be highly preferred!

REQUIREMENTS OF OUR HEAD OF SALES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in Wholesale Sales experience (Plumbing industry preferred), with at least 8 years in senior management or leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling a national wholesale network in the plumbing industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build customer relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing large wholesale accounts.
  • Expertise in leading, managing, and developing large, cross-functional teams. Ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to work on assignments where the problems, opportunities and solutions may not be clearly defined.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to find unique solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to travel within the US, Canada & Mexico, up to 75% travel.
