The Role

Working closely with the principal and wider leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school. Similar in scope to a Headteacher position, you will oversee educational outcomes, operational performance, financial management, safeguarding, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic and operational management of the school.
• Establish and maintain a positive school ethos focused on achievement, inclusion, and wellbeing.
• Develop and implement effective school improvement plans.
• Monitor educational performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead, support, and develop teaching, support, and leadership staff.
• Conduct quality assurance activities, including lesson observations and performance management.
• Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, external professionals, and other stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the principal to promote outstanding outcomes for all pupils.
