Description

Namoi Valley Christian School is seeking a dynamic and faith-filled Head of Secondary to join our leadership team and guide our growing Secondary School into its next exciting season.
Located in the heart of the Namoi Valley in Northwest NSW, our school partners closely with families to deliver Christ-centred education that equips students academically, spiritually, and personally for life. With enrolments steadily increasing, we are looking for a visionary leader who will inspire both staff and students, cultivate a thriving learning culture, and champion Christian education in our community.
At NVCS, you’ll find more than just a workplace, you’ll discover a supportive, close-knit community where staff wellbeing, professional growth, and spiritual encouragement are at the forefront. We believe in a healthy balance between work and family life and value the unique gifts each team member brings to our mission.
We recognise that moving to a regional community is a big decision. To support your transition, we are offering relocation assistance, tailored in consultation with the successful applicant.

  • Shape and implement strategies that ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and wellbeing
  • Model servant-hearted leadership grounded in a vibrant Christian faith
  • Continue contributing to the classroom (0.5 FTE) in your area of expertise

What We’re Looking For – The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Current NESA Registration (or eligibility)
  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
  • A genuine and active Christian faith, expressed through regular local church involvement
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build trust and engage positively with parents, staff, and the wider community
  • A passion for lifelong learning and professional growth
  • Alignment with the vision and values of NVCS and a deep commitment to Christian education
