Your Role: As the Head of Security, St Louis, you will oversee all aspects of security management, ensuring the safety and security of employees across multiple sites in St. Louis and supporting monitoring alarms at non-STL locations. You will be responsible for leading a team, managing personnel matters, and developing and implementing security protocols to safeguard our facilities and personnel. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Direct the Security Staff, including all HR functions such as payroll, personnel development, and performance reviews. Collaborate with site management and security officers on investigative, reactive, and preventative security measures. Emergency Response: Act as the primary contact for emergency situations, coordinating responses to medical, fire, and chemical incidents, and serving as the Travel Security Emergency Operator for business travelers. Security Operations: Monitor and manage alarm systems and CCTV platforms, ensuring they are operational and effective. Conduct investigations and reviews of security incidents, maintaining detailed records. Manage the visitor management program for the site. Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance and facilities departments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. Participate actively in corporate security initiatives and teams. Assist the Facilities team by monitoring site conditions such as snow/ice, lighting and any other unsafe conditions. Adaptation and Innovation: Stay informed about emerging security threats and adapt strategies accordingly. Utilize advanced technology and tools for effective emergency management and security operations. Develop KPIs and report on them on a regular basis. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience of eight years or more may be considered. Minimum of five years in security management or a Security Operations Center, with proven capabilities in emergency response and investigative management. Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of security protocols, advanced technical skills in security systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Pay Range for this position: $130,200 - $195,400. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
