AVL Hungary Kft. offers a job in Hungary (HU) as Head of Shared Service Center   RESPONSIBILITIES   Lead and further develop the SSC site in Erd with a strong focus on engagement, team culture and service orientation Act as the central on-site contact person for employees and internal stakeholders Ensure smooth operational processes and resolve administrative or organizational challenges Oversee site logistics, seating planning, employee rotations and occupational safety Ensure a professional onboarding experience and a positive workplace experience for employees Collaborate closely with local enabling functions (HR, Legal, IT, Facility Management, Finance, Purchasing) Ensure legal compliance in coordination with HR and the Managing Director Overall responsibility for the SSC’s profit and loss (P&L), including budget management, business planning and performance measurement through defined service KPIs Manage intercompany charging and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations Support administrative processes related to employee entries and exits in the role of local manager Drive digitalization and automation of SSC processes to ensure scalability, efficiency and high service quality Depending on the delivery model, partial disciplinary leadership responsibility for the SSC team at the site    REQUIREMENTS   Several years of experience in a management or site leadership role Experience in shared services, operations or comparable organizational structures is an advantage Solid experience in budget management and P&L responsibility Strong organizational and execution capabilities, particularly in build-up or transformation environments Service-oriented, pragmatic and solution-focused working style Strong communication and leadership skills Fluent Hungarian and English knowledge German language skills are an advantage On-site presence in Érd at least three days per week     WE OFFER   A key role in building and shaping a new Shared Service Center High level of responsibility and visibility in an international business environment The opportunity to actively shape culture, processes and performance Collaboration with global teams and stakeholders     ABOUT AVL HUNGARY KFT.   AVL Hungary Kft., founded in 2002, has become a leading research and development center in almost all areas of powertrain systems in recent years by combining the 100-year tradition of the Hungarian vehicle industry and the innovative activities of the global company.
