Description
Description Bright Data powers mission‑critical decisions for leading enterprises by making public web data accessible, reliable, and compliant at scale. As Head of Solutions Architecture, you will lead our global Solutions Architecture organization, owning the technical strategy that drives customer outcomes across pre‑sales, onboarding, and post‑sales expansion. You will set the bar for technical excellence, establish repeatable solution patterns, and serve as the executive technical voice with our most strategic customers. This is a highly cross‑functional, impact‑driven role that partners closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑value data solutions. Direct reporting to Bright Data’s Chief Revenue Officer. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the global Solutions Architecture team: hiring, coaching, capacity planning, and clear operating standards (discovery, design, POCs, handoffs). Drive pre-sales excellence and deal leadership: ensure full technical coverage, create playbooks /demos /reference architectures, and personally de-risk complex, high-value deals. Own strategic customer outcomes post-sale: attend post sales cadences, surface opportunities and risks, train on best practices, and drive adoption, performance, and compliant use. Systematize processes and tooling: establish repeatable workflows for scoping, POCs, implementations, and handoffs; instrument dashboards for time-to-value, win rate, cycle time, adoption, and expansion. Partner cross-functionally: work with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable, reliable solutions and feed field insights into the roadmap. Serve as the technical authority: maintain deep expertise in Bright Data products, proxy orchestration, headless browsing, and data pipelines; publish best practices and solution patterns. Champion governance and risk: uphold privacy, security, and acceptable-use standards; guide customers through compliance requirements. Requirements Leadership: 8–10+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Architecture, Sales/Customer Engineering), including 4+ years leading distributed teams; hiring, coaching, and performance management. Ownership and execution: entrepreneurial mindset with bias to action; able to close gaps, drive cross-functional programs, and deliver repeatable outcomes. Technical depth: proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js and/or Python; solid HTML/CSS; experience with headless automation (Puppeteer/Playwright/Selenium), HTTP/networking, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and async workflows. Web data domain expertise: Strong understanding of data requirements, structuring, and scalable data pipelines. Familiarity with data querying, cloud storage solutions, and efficient data delivery. In addition, knowledge of scraper technologies and methods for proxy orchestration, and data quality/normalization Communication and executive presence: excellent storytelling and presentation skills; able to translate technical trade-offs into business impact and influence from developer to C‑suite. Cross-functional collaboration: proven partner to Sales, Product, and Engineering; turns field insights into roadmap inputs; comfortable with scoping/SOWs.
