Responsibilities

This is a newley created role that is part of the exciting growth and development strategy within Dematic. Your role will see you manage the Northern Europe Spare Parts and warranty business.

You will ensure that your teams delivers a dedicated and complete service to the business by:

  • Leading and driving revenue and profitability growth
  • Provision of parts and spares required to support customer sites with the development and maintenance of a sustainable, effective and affordable supply chain and process
  • Management of post-handover warranty related issues with the customer whilst minimising the warranty spend, while developing positive customer and supplier relationships.
  • The identification of wider warranty issues and escalation to the correct parties to ensure the effective close-out of open issues.
  • Management and development of the Spares and Warranty team

You will be responsible for ensuring your team deliver in line with Dematic business strategy the following key performance indicators:

  • Business growth
  • On-time Delivery
  • Quotation Response
  • Order Response
  • Quotation Conversion Rate
  • Invoicing
  • Goods Receipt
  • Goods Inspection
  • Despatch (release orders)
  • Despatch (to customers)
  • Cost Effective Delivery

You will be personally responsible for the following:

  • Ensure the timely accurate production of recommended spare part lists (RSPLs)
  • Ensure the delivery of a successful process and continuous improvement for RSPLs and their delivery for the lifetime of the installation ensuring they remain current taking Upgrades, Extensions and Obsolescence into account.
  • Manage the type and quantity of spares held locally (Unit 6 or similar)
  • Manage the spares store building (Unit 6 or similar) ensuring legislative compliance (H&S / Environment)
  • Adhere to Dematic’s processes, procedures, H&S requirements at all times.
  • Management of the warranty budget to minimize costs for the company whilst maintaining positive relationships with customer and supplier
  • To create structures and process for the resolution of warranty issues utilising product specialist within Dematic and 3rd party supply chain.
