In this newly created role of Head of Strategic Recoveries, you will bring a fresh and dynamic take on our end of strategy process and trials in relation to unpaid Parking Charges. You will have a blank canvas to try several different strategies to drive resolutions, including the utilisation of unrivalled data capabilities and ability to build on our existing behavioural science practices.
This is a new role for our organisation, driven by our growth and willingness to invest and innovate, which is why we need someone who can think outside the box. We have a traditional, well defined and high performing collection process, so we would want you to focus on innovative ways to create new resolutions for a portion of the several £million of outstanding Parking Charges that have reached the end of the current strategy.
You will have access to a portfolio of existing debt resolution, litigation and behavioural partners as well as well as an experienced in-house team managing the existing process to deliver the best results.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design and implement new strategies to resolve unpaid Parking Charges, using data-driven insights and behavioural science.
Lead trials and pilot programmes to test new approaches, measuring impact and iterating based on results.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in debt resolution, litigation, and behavioural science to maximise recovery outcomes.
Work closely with our in-house collections team and partners to ensure seamless integration of new strategies with existing processes.
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and impact.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy development.

Who you are
Experienced in interpreting and using data rich insights to drive performance within an operational process or collections strategy
Confident in trialling, iterating and improving processes to improve revenue collection
Curious to explore and understand solutions
Creative in acting from opportunities in the market and successfully leveraging them
Previous experience managing a team of collection / recovery debt / litigation team is desirable for the long-term vision of this role
Experience managing collection / recovery strategies is desirable
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, DOE, for the 6 month contract duration
Hours: 40 per week
Duration: 6 month FTC with potential to be extended or become permanent based on performance
