Group Legal Head of Strategy, Digital & Operations  You will lead the Strategy & Operations pillar, setting the vision for a modern, future‑ready operational backbone that enables Legal to deliver with clarity, consistency and impact. This pillar will be responsible for corporate affairs and corporate governance, and will play a pivotal role as a strategic boardroom advisor. You will shape the function’s structures, governance and priorities to strengthen Legal’s effectiveness and long‑term performance. You will oversee key strategic initiatives, drive coherence across ways of working and serve as a key driver of digitalization efforts across the Legal function. As a member of the Group Legal Management Team, you will collaborate with senior executives and cross‑functional partners to inform decisions and advance DLL’s strategic goals. Find out more here [https://youtu.be/gBE3ATequxM] about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL Day to day: * Lead, coach, and develop a multi‑disciplinary team of subordinate managers, lawyers, and legal professionals across the Strategy & Operations pillar, ensuring high performance, effective planning, and strong stewardship of people, budget, and execution. * Provide strategic leadership across the pillar’s core areas—including corporate affairs and housekeeping, corporate governance, expense management, workflow improvement, legal policy, technology, data, claims, and reporting—leveraging broad cross‑functional understanding and strong commercial awareness to connect these disciplines with the wider Legal function. * Strengthen processes, tools, and ways of working across the Legal function by designing and implementing group‑wide standards and solutions that enhance consistency, operational excellence, and the overall quality of Legal service delivery. * Steer major strategic legal projects and initiatives with global scope, maintaining oversight of progress, risks, interdependencies, and key decisions, and applying advanced analytical judgment to resolve complex issues and drive innovative solutions. * Champion the effective use of technology, AI, and data within Legal, integrating expertise from multiple disciplines to deliver more efficient, scalable, and future‑focused operational capabilities. * Act as a strategic advisor in the EB boardroom, providing forward‑looking operational insight, influencing senior decision‑makers, and ensuring that Legal’s functional priorities are well aligned with group‑level objectives. * Foster strong collaboration across the global Legal network by promoting shared responsibility, collective ownership, and alignment in how the function delivers, influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally to ensure coherence and functional integration.
