THE HEALTH CENTRE

The Health Centre offers ‘drop-in’ clinic and appointments to students. The College Nurse is available to help with a broad range of health and welfare issues. This includes assessment, advice and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, general health checks and advice, as well as support with well-being issues and other personal matters.
This is a permanent full-time role and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week.
The annual full-time salary for this role is £52,653.

Responsibilities

The Head of Student Health & Wellbeing and College Nurse is a key member of the College’s Tutorial and welfare team. They will head the College’s Health Centre and will liaise closely with the Tutors and members of the Education & Tutorial Department, the Head of HR and other Heads of Department. The Head of Wellbeing and College Nurse will provide first-line health care and health-related welfare advice and first aid to students of the College community throughout the year as well as developing a programme of wellbeing events designed at improving prevention of mental health and wellbeing concerns.
