Workplace: ITV London White City + Manchester Media City + Hybrid - expectation is 2-3 days in the office, often travelling between both locations.

Responsibilities

The Head of Studios UK Finance Hub is a new critical senior leadership role within ITV Studios UK finance, reporting into the Finance Director - ITV Studios UK. This position leads the development and delivery of a high-performing finance function that drives operational excellence through standardised, optimised, and insightful financial processes. The role oversees a diverse team of finance professionals and acts as a strategic partner to Finance Business Partners, Finance Directors, FP&A and Group Finance teams, ensuring the finance function supports the evolving needs of the business with agility, accuracy, and innovation.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Recruit, lead, and develop a skilled finance team that is agile and aligned with business priorities.
  • Foster a collaborative finance community focused on innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior finance stakeholders across ITV Studios UK, Divisional FP&A and Group Finance.
  • Drive process standardisation, documentation, and optimisation in partnership with Continuous Improvement and GFO RTR teams.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, enhancing automation and streamlining legacy finance processes.
  • Strengthen financial controls and compliance in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
  • Oversee the design and execution of a standardised, efficient, and insightful reporting strategy.
  • Manage monthly and periodic accounting and reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary contact for auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process with accessible documentation.
  • Administer management and employee incentive schemes with robust governance.
  • Ensure HETV accounting processes are clearly documented, compliant, and effectively managed.
  • Partner with Group Finance on statutory account reviews and filings, including HETV accounts.
  • Support integration of acquired companies into ITV’s finance and control frameworks.
  • Collaborate across the broader finance community to leverage technical expertise and best practices.
  • Act as a key member of the ITV Studios UK finance leadership team, championing collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Effective project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within finance or related functions.
  • Practical working knowledge of Oracle Fusion suite, including EPBCS planning tools
  • Familiarity with systemised planning and reporting using modern analytics tools such as Tableau.
  • Previous experience in the television production industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating at all levels.
