Purpose of role: The Head of Supply Chain is responsible to drive operational excellence by creating a flexible, resilient and innovative supply chain through customer satisfaction on product availability, quality and compliance. Ensure robust and efficient supply chain and an optimal sale and demand planning process in the business. Responsibilities include: Supply planning Direction and Strategic Thinking Direct end-to-end supply chain activities to achieve business objectives, improve profitability, and optimize cost efficiency. Establish supply planning standards, set targets, and implement forecasting models to align demand and supply. Oversee legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance across all product movements and mitigate risks within the value chain. Manage initiatives and projects with NPD, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to support business growth and operational efficiency. Analyse slow-moving products, manage returns and maintain proactive, tailored communication with stakeholders Oversee and ensure relevant product portfolio that drives consumer satisfaction Oversee consumer feedback loop with cross functional team and drive NPS Oversee stock availability and cannibalisation impacts for NPD launch and monitor status and priority with key stakeholders Develop an environment which fosters the successful resolution on consumer complaints Identify and communicate product hold and recall risks as they occur to relevant stakeholders for resolution Oversee consumer safety initiatives from kick-off to launch to the market Build product portfolio changes into ongoing supply planning program as appropriate Driving Sales Effort Ensure supply planning intelligence is received and analysed so that opportunities may be capitalised on as they occur and the effects of over/under stocking minimised Collate and present ongoing supply chain plans monthly (as required) to functional teams Financial Management and Administration Regularly report to Country Manager summarising key achievements and issues for the department Participate in Budget preparation for respective area Monitor and review performance against budget and forecast, and instigate remedial action to minimise adverse variances Manage compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate requirements (e.g. FDA) and ethical standards; manage exposure in these areas Develop and follow policies, procedures and controls to assist in the achievement of Supply Chain objectives and profit targets Team Leadership Align team goals with organizational vision, model company values, and promote a strong leadership culture. Direct Supply Chain and Quality teams, coach and delegate effectively, review performance, and approve recruitment and training. Encourage teamwork, source ideas for process enhancements, and integrate cross-functional needs into strategic plans. Inspire high performance, take ownership of outcomes, and ensure stakeholder needs are anticipated and met Industry Engagement Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, key retailers, industry associations and government representatives to achieve the objectives of the company Manage relationships: Distributor, FDA, customs and importation port agencies Maintain good relationship with Environmental Regulatory Authorities, Retailers and other agencies to achieve business objectives Who are you? Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field). 8–10 years of progressive supply chain management experience within a multinational FMCG or similar environment. Proven track record in managing end-to-end supply chain operations and working with external service providers. Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop teams, with experience in performance management and talent development. Skilled in fostering collaboration and driving cross-functional alignment. Working knowledge of business financials, demand planning, and consumer value management. Familiarity with compliance, risk management, and supply chain optimization strategies. Deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, distribution networks, and forecasting models. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to inspire high performance and deliver results under pressure.
