YOUR MISSION

As Head of Supply Chain at EP Power Grit, you will lead the strategic and operational direction of our supply chain across five European manufacturing sites with a strong focus on Central Europe and a global sales network. You will ensure perfect alignment of supply, demand, and customer requirements – driving efficiency, cost optimization, and service excellence while supporting our growth and sustainability ambitions.

• Own and lead the full Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring seamless alignment between market demand, production capacity, and financial goals.
• Drive supply and demand planning with accurate forecasting, efficient production scheduling, and clear KPIs for service levels and forecast accuracy.
• Shape the procurement strategy for direct raw materials, securing sustainable, reliable, and cost-efficient supply sources while fostering strategic supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and ESG standards.
• Oversee customer service excellence, ensuring flawless order-to-cash execution, strong OTIF performance, and proactive customer communication.
• Define and implement a global inventory strategy, including safety stocks, replenishment models, and digital transparency in stock management with a focus on digitalization.
• Lead warehouse operations across European sites with a focus on efficiency, cost control, safety, and compliance.
• Manage global logistics flows for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods, optimizing transport costs, reliability, and resilience.
• Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing, multicultural supply chain team across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

We are EP Power Grit GmbH based in Dinslaken and specialized in abrasives and industrial minerals based on slags, minerals, glass and other raw materials. The environmentally friendly products are effectively used for surface cleaning in industry, on buildings and ships, for water jet cutting or as decorative building materials. Smart logistics services tailored to customer needs promise additional benefits. With proven production facilities, we produce high-quality abrasives at our sites in Germany and, since December 2022, at additional sites in Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland.
