Description
A global leader in OEM manufacturing of medical devices for minimally invasive surgery is opening operations in the Grecia Free Trade Zone and is seeking to hire a Head of Supply Chain Manufacturing to lead the implementation and management of the local supply chain, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and efficiency. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in leadership roles. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries (highly desirable). Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, customs, planning, and ERP systems. Fluency in English is mandatory. Strategic, analytical, results-oriented profile with a hands-on mindset. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end supply chain: procurement, demand planning, logistics, customs, warehousing, and distribution. Ensure the availability of materials for production on time, at optimal cost, and with the required quality. Manage critical KPIs such as OTIF, inventory levels, and supply continuity. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards applicable to the medical device industry. Develop and manage relationships with local and international suppliers. Act as the supply chain lead for the Costa Rica plant and as a key liaison with Headquarters and global teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
The Head of Supply Chain Manufacturing will lead the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring material availability for production while managing critical KPIs. They will also ensure compliance with industry regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
