BTHFT are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Sustainability to lead, monitor and report on the environmental management of the organisation and the sustainable aspects of the Trust’s operational services. Investigate, implement and review the environmental aspects, impacts and management of the hospital built environment. The post-holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the Trust meets statutory and best practice guidelines associated with relevant legislation and guidance including:
- The NHS England’s Delivering a Net Zero NHS.
- The Climate Change Act 2008.
- Environment Act 2021
- Environmental Protection Act 1990
- Relevant Health Technical Memorandum (HTM’s)
