Symrise is setting up Sustainability as new global corporate function with an updated Target Operating Model. For the function to deliver ESG value for all relevant internal and external stakeholders, a modern and agile ways of working is desired to enable successful mobilization of the organization and create value of impacts for customers, investors and all relevant stakeholders. In a cross-functional and cross-disciplinary environment, Symrise’s One Sustainability will set up a leadership team that develops and implements the enterprise’s ESG goals, practices and data management in a systematic and compliant manner, while ensuring that Sustainability is embedded into all business functions over years to come. The One Sustainability leadership team is a key enabler across the supply chain to bring the strategic goals into practice.
As part of this leadership team, the Head of Sustainable Business Leader Scent & Care will drive value creation related to Sustainability, supporting our divisions in embedding sustainability into business strategies and processes. This role is designed for employees with extensive experience in developing and implementing commercial sustainability strategies and leading teams. It involves partnering with divisional business leaders to enhance and drive sustainability value into P&L results.
Your role
This is a leadership role, with the team to be developed from within our organization based on specific needs (customer base), process mapping and business management alignment. The Head of Sustainable Business Leader S&C will take a proactive approach in driving Sustainability divisional objectives by partnering with business leaders in delivering our customers best in class experience and generating sustainability business value for Symrise.
Main responsibilities
Align customer stewardship processes to increase efficiencies and improve service to customers across divisions.Consolidate customer requests topics and bring back to Sustainability leadership team to ensure Symrise Sustainability is fit for purpose to generate customer value ahead of time.
