This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 4000000 - Rs 5000000 (ie INR 40-50 LPA) Min Experience: 8 years LocationL gurgaon JobType: full-time The Head of Systems Engineering & Integration will lead the end-to-end integration of multidisciplinary engineering functions to deliver robust, cost-efficient, and high-quality robotic platforms. This role ensures seamless collaboration across mechanical, electrical, software, and control systems teams, guiding products from concept and validation through deployment and operational handover. Key Role Outcomes Deliver robotic systems and platforms within defined timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. Own the full lifecycle from Design Approval Process (DAP) through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) clearance and technical handover to Installation & Commissioning (I&C) teams. Establish and lead a Technical Support Group to support Operations and Customer Success, ensuring high post-deployment reliability and rapid issue resolution. Reduce design-related field issues by at least 50% through structured system validation, design reviews, and continuous feedback loops. Drive a minimum 15% cost reduction in new robotic platforms through design-to-cost initiatives and cross-functional optimization. Key Responsibilities Lead system-level architecture, integration, and validation for complex robotic platforms. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and automation engineering. Define and enforce system integration, verification, and validation processes. Oversee technical risk assessment, reliability analysis, and mitigation strategies. Ensure smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing, deployment, and field operations. Champion continuous improvement, quality excellence, and best-in-class systems engineering practices. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. 15–18 years of experience in systems integration, engineering design, or robotics development, preferably within automation or industrial robotics environments. Demonstrated success leading complex engineering programs from concept through validation and large-scale deployment. Strong experience managing technical handovers from design teams to field operations and customer environments. Key Skills & Competencies Deep expertise in systems engineering, product integration, and verification & validation (V&V). Strong understanding of robotic architectures, sensors, actuators, control systems, and communication interfaces. Proven experience with design-to-cost methodologies, system reliability engineering, and risk management. Ability to lead and align cross-functional engineering teams across the full product lifecycle. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and program management capabilities. Strong leadership mindset with focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
