  • Track record of transforming candidate experience and employer branding into strategic assets.
  • Expertise in market intelligence, workforce analytics, and proactive pipeline development.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and foster cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with leading ATS and CRM systems.
  • Deep knowledge of legal, compliance, and regulatory considerations across the Americas.
  • Experience in innovating early career recruitment strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to build regional relationships and attend key talent events.

Responsibilities

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Align Talent Strategy with Business Vision: Develop and lead a comprehensive, region-specific talent acquisition roadmap that supports AXA XL’s growth ambitions, market positioning, and transformation initiatives. Ensure talent plans are integrated into long-term business strategies, including diversification, digital transformation, and geographic expansion per business growth.
  • Cultivate a Future-Ready Workforce: Drive innovative talent sourcing and pipeline development, emphasizing early talent engagement. Leverage market insights, workforce analytics, and AI to anticipate talent needs, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance talent quality.
  • Transform Candidate and Stakeholder Experience: Champion a world-class employer brand and experience that attracts top-tier talent. Build strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations, and community organizations to elevate our employer value proposition (EVP) and ensure a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Leadership Development & Internal Mobility: Promote internal talent mobility and career development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and agility. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and leaders to develop succession plans and internal talent pathways aligned with future business needs.
  • Build a High-Impact Talent Acquisition Organization: Lead, develop, and empower a strategic, metrics-driven recruiting team capable of responding rapidly to changing business priorities. Embed best practices, innovative sourcing techniques, and data-driven decision-making to ensure operational excellence.
  • Influence and Partner at the Executive Level: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business objectives into effective talent solutions. Collaborate across HR and business units to shape workforce planning, talent forecasting, and workforce optimization strategies.
  • Market & Industry Insight: Maintain a pulse on industry trends, dynamic talent landscapes, and regulatory environments across the Americas. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to mitigate talent risks and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Enhance Employment Brand & EVP: Lead regional efforts to articulate and activate AXA XL’s employer brand, ensuring it reflects our corporate purpose, values, and strategic priorities. Use innovative channels and storytelling to engage diverse talent pools.
  • Data & Metrics-Driven Decision Making: Establish KPIs and advanced analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness, diversity outcomes, and candidate experience. Use insights to continuously refine talent acquisition strategies and demonstrate contribution to business growth.
  • Legal & Ethical Leadership: Maintain rigorous adherence to local employment laws and ethical standards, embedding compliance into every aspect of recruitment practices.

You will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer, Americas with a matrix reporting line into the Global Head of Talent Management and Employee Experience.
