Description

Do you have extensive experience in talent management, organisational development, or related HR functions, with a proven record in leadership roles? We’re seeking a Head of Talent and Skills Transformation to come join our People team on a permanent or fixed term contract.
You’ll be responsible for aligning talent strategy with business outcomes through a comprehensive skills-based approach. This role will lead the development and embedding of talent management and skills initiatives across the organisation, ensuring effective governance, frameworks, and tools are in place for skills management, technology integration, job architecture, and skills taxonomy. You’ll combine expertise in traditional talent management with a forward-thinking approach to skills development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations in Bolton, Tunbridge Wells or Bristol, visiting clients or attending industry events.
