Responsibilities

As Head of Technical Education, you will provide strategic leadership and operational management across the departments of construction and engineering, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, industry-relevant education and training. With a significant interest in the areas you will oversee, you will lead curriculum innovation aligned with local and national priorities, while driving continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and student outcomes. You will manage and develop staff, oversee resource planning, and ensure compliance with quality assurance. A key part of the role will be to strengthen employer partnerships, enhance progression opportunities, and ensure our technical education offer remains responsive to the evolving needs of learners, industry, and the wider community.
