Head of Technology | Enterprise Technology, Cyber & Data Leadership Melbourne / Sydney Aula Energy is building a portfolio of solar, wind and battery assets that will help power Australia’s clean energy future. As we transition from renewable developer to long term asset owner, technology is becoming a critical enabler of how we operate, manage risk and generate performance insights across our portfolio. We are looking for a Head of Technology to establish and lead Aula’s enterprise technology environment. This is not a traditional CIO role running a large internal IT department. It is a hands on leadership role focused on architecture, cyber security, data and vendor orchestration within a deliberately lean operating model. You will define how Aula owns and governs its technology environment while working through specialist delivery partners. You will: Define and maintain a coherent enterprise technology architecture aligned to Aula’s operating model and growth plans Ensure cyber security governance and SOCI obligations are clearly owned, coordinated and implemented Lead Aula’s ecosystem of technology vendors and managed service providers Establish reliable, trusted data platforms supporting executive, Board and investor reporting Connect technology capability to enterprise needs across Finance, Asset Management, Projects and Corporate Services Support integration of newly acquired assets and platforms into Aula’s technology environment Ensure technology capability scales with portfolio growth without unnecessary complexity or cost You bring: Experience leading technology functions in infrastructure, energy, utilities or similarly complex operating environments Strong technology architecture and systems integration capability Experience governing outsourced technology providers and managed service environments Practical understanding of cyber security risk and critical infrastructure environments Digital fluency across cloud platforms, enterprise systems and modern data environments Comfort operating hands on in a lean, fast moving organisation Experience in renewable energy or asset intensive industries, and exposure to operational technology (OT), SCADA interfaces or asset performance platforms will be beneficial.
