Deep manufacturing experience isn't essential. What does matter is experience in businesses where physical goods move, whether that's manufacturing, distribution, logistics, wholesale, retail, building products or a similar environment.

You'll bring broad exposure across enterprise applications, ERP, data and digital, alongside strong commercial judgement and credibility with senior stakeholders.

You'll have experience leading internal teams and external partners, with enough technical depth to ask the right questions without needing to be the deepest technical specialist in the room.

• Most importantly, you'll be curious about how the organisation actually works and comfortable spending time with the people closest to its operations.
