As a global leader in our space, Simcorp is on a mission to transform from a traditional enterprise software company into a technology-enabled services business, while sustaining our track record of double-digit highly profitable growth. To further support, enable and drive this journey we’re transitioning to a horizontal delivery model, aligned to client outcomes and are now recruiting for a Head of Transformation & Business Management to lead the transformation program and to manage the ongoing business operational activities.
The ‘Transformation’ element of this role is new, and the ‘Business Management ‘component is currently delivered by a team that covers business operations, business planning, business intelligence, and management of business tools. This function will provide strategic and administrative support to the Operations business unit delivering our SaaS solution.
As Head of Transformation & Business Management, you will be a key member of the Operations organization Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Strategic planning: Develop and own our transformation roadmap and implement transformation strategies aligned with the Operations organization’s overall goals
  • Program Management: Oversee the delivery of transformation programs and Strategic Projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet desired outcomes
  • Change Management: Design and implement functional change management programs to ensure staff engagement and adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Communication: Communicate the vision and benefits of transformation programs, and functional communication related to the Operations group to all stakeholders and via all relevant channels.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business units, and external stakeholders. Drive the needed collaboration and alignment with other global functions such as Product Management and Go-to-Market to ensure operational needs and perspectives are reflected in plans
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Business Planning: Develop and implement business operating model including plans, strategies, and goals, aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Business Intelligence: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, track the progress of transformation initiatives and regular business operations, identify trends, and support decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential business risks.
  • Manage Operational Cadence: Run the annual wheel and ensure leadership team meetings are well-prepared and executed
  • Enhance Decision Quality: Constructively challenge and provide sparring to the COO and Operations Senior Leadership Team on strategic challenges to improve leadership decisions, incl. preparation of Executive documentation
