Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and management of the Group Treasury function, establishing appropriate policies, processes, controls and governance.
Take ownership of liquidity management, cash management and funding requirements across the Group.
Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash-flow forecasting and liquidity reporting.
Manage and optimise banking relationships, including supporting the negotiation and management of financing facilities.
Oversee and manage financial risks, including FX, interest-rate, liquidity and counterparty risk.
Lead the management of FX products including spot, forwards, swaps and precious metals, where relevant.
Develop appropriate FX pricing strategies, margin frameworks and pricing governance.
Establish robust controls around pricing, including margin matrices and after-hours pricing frameworks.
Support the business in assessing the Treasury implications of new products, markets and jurisdictions.
Ensure Treasury activities operate within applicable UAE regulatory requirements and relevant international standards.
Work closely with Finance, Product, Technology and senior management on strategic initiatives and new product launches.
Ensure Treasury practices are appropriately aligned with Sharia-compliant financial principles.
Identify opportunities to improve Treasury infrastructure, systems, MI and automation.
Build a scalable Treasury framework capable of supporting a rapidly expanding financial services organisation.
What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced Treasury professional who has the technical depth and commercial judgement to build and lead a Treasury function, rather than simply manage an established operation.You should have:Significant experience within Treasury, liquidity management, financial risk or corporate finance.
A strong background within banking, fintech, financial services or another highly regulated financial environment.
Deep understanding of liquidity management, cash forecasting, funding and capital allocation.
Strong knowledge of financial and Treasury risk management, including FX and counterparty risk.
Experience developing or enhancing Treasury policies, frameworks, governance and controls.
Strong understanding of relevant financial services regulation and regulatory expectations.
The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and execution focused.
Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at senior leadership level.
Experience with Treasury Management Systems and relevant financial technology.
Desirable ExperienceIt would be advantageous to have experience in one or more of the following:Islamic / Sharia-compliant banking or finance.
Digital banking or high-growth fintech.
Digital assets, crypto or tokenised financial products.
Building a Treasury function within a start-up or rapidly scaling organisation.
Relevant Islamic finance qualifications such as CIFE or AAOIFI.
Arabic language skills.
