Head of UI/UX – Role Description The Role The Head of UI/UX will lead Anchanto’s design vision and strategy, ensuring world-class user experiences across our B2B SaaS logistics solutions. The role combines strategic direction, team leadership, and operational excellence to deliver innovative, customer-centric products. Strategic Responsibilities Define and implement the UX vision: Develop a design strategy aligned with business goals and product roadmaps. Translate complex problems: Simplify supply chain challenges (e.g., real-time inventory tracking, network optimization) into intuitive design solutions. Advocate for the user: Champion user-centered design across the organization. Drive innovation: Leverage trends in AI, ML, and design technologies to enhance competitiveness. Measure impact: Establish UX KPIs to demonstrate design’s effect on efficiency, error reduction, and satisfaction. Team Leadership & Management Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of UI/UX designers and researchers (internal & external). Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented design culture. Define and implement UX processes, methodologies, and quality standards. Build and scale design systems for a consistent, scalable product experience. Operational Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end design lifecycle: research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and implementation. Lead user research to understand behaviors and pain points across supply chain roles. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams. Simplify complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and dashboards. Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for diverse environments (e.g., warehouses, mobile devices). Product Responsibilities Design for varied user contexts—from warehouse operators to managers. Develop strategies compatible with legacy systems while delivering a modern UX. Simplify multi-stakeholder processes using strong information architecture. Balance speed and quality in a fast-paced environment. Continuously measure, iterate, and improve designs for performance and usability. Essential Requirements 12+ years’ experience in UI/UX design for global, digital-first companies. Exceptional portfolio showcasing design and storytelling. Expertise in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma. Proficiency in prototyping (Keynote, Flinto, Principle, Sketch). Understanding of front-end technologies (CSS/HTML, JavaScript, frameworks). Strong research skills with ability to turn insights into elegant customer experiences. Track record of solving large-scale problems with intuitive design. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in high-paced environments. Personal Attributes Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, UI/UX Design, Service Design, Information Architecture, HCI, Human Factors, or equivalent portfolio-based experience. Self-motivated, collaborative, and driven by group critique. Proven ability to bring clarity to complex problems for diverse stakeholders.
