Description
Description: At Fantasy Life, video sits at the center of our media and tools ecosystem, serving as both a primary growth engine and a core revenue driver. We’re looking for an Executive Producer (Head of Video) to lead our video business; owning strategy, programming, distribution, and monetization across partners and modern platforms like YouTube and FAST Channels. This is not a traditional production role. This person will not be responsible for day-to-day content creation. Instead, they will operate as the leader of the video business and be responsible for defining what we make, where it lives, how it grows, and how it drives revenue. The Role: The Executive Producer (Head of Video) will own the vision, performance, and scalability of Fantasy Life’s video ecosystem. They will oversee a team of producers, technical directors, editors, and on-air talent, ensuring that the content operation runs efficiently and delivers against clear audience and revenue goals. This role is responsible for building a repeatable, high-performing content system, including developing formats, distribution strategies, and monetization pathways that extend beyond individual shows. Sitting at the intersection of content, growth, and revenue, this role works closely with leadership, sales, and product to ensure video is fully integrated into the broader business. Key Responsibilities: Own the direction and performance of Fantasy Life’s video business, including what we produce, where it lives, and how it scales across platforms like YouTube and FAST channels. Ensure alignment across video, audio, and podcast content, including SiriusXM, creating a cohesive and scalable content ecosystem across all formats. Lead the video team across producers, technical directors, editors, and on-air talent, setting priorities, establishing workflows, and ensuring consistent, high-quality output without being hands-on in day-to-day production. Develop and evolve a programming slate built for modern distribution, with an emphasis on repeatable formats that drive audience growth, retention, and revenue, working closely with the social team to align on social-first video strategy and distribution. Drive platform growth with a deep focus on YouTube performance and FAST channel strategy, tailoring content and packaging to how audiences actually consume media today. Partner closely with the sales team to integrate sponsorships and build monetization opportunities into the content ecosystem in a way that feels native and scalable. Manage relationships with current distribution partners while also identifying and pursuing new distribution opportunities, including licensing, syndication, and expansion into new platforms or channels that extend reach and revenue. Own and manage the video content budget, including planning, allocation, and tracking against performance to ensure efficient and ROI-driven spend. Establish clear success metrics across viewership, engagement, and revenue, and hold the team accountable to those outcomes. Continuously evaluate new formats, platforms, and opportunities to expand Fantasy Life’s presence in an evolving media landscape. Qualifications Experience building and scaling a video content business on digital platforms, particularly YouTube and/or FAST Channels. Thinks like an operator, not just a producer, with a clear understanding of how content drives growth, revenue, and long-term business value. Experience leading teams and managing multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders. Experience working closely with revenue teams and integrating sponsorships and partnerships into content in a way that feels native and effective. Strong understanding of modern distribution, audience development, and platform dynamics. Experience with content licensing, distribution deals, or platform partnerships is a strong plus. Comp & Benefits: Base Salary: $120,000-$150,000 Performance Bonus: Up to 10%, tied to YouTube growth, video-driven revenue, and engagement KPIs Equity: Opportunity for equity as part of comp package Medical: Fantasy Life offers an Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA), providing a monthly allowance to cover medical, dental, and vision insurance. Coverage scales based on dependents, with additional contributions for spouses/partners and children. Any unused funds can be applied toward eligible healthcare expenses. Flexible Time Off: Unlimited PTO with an emphasis on taking real time away from work. Remote-First Work Environment: Work from anywhere, with a fully distributed team and async-friendly culture. Retirement Plan: 401(k) through Human Interest High Ownership, Low Bureaucracy: Opportunity to operate with real autonomy and influence across content, growth, and revenue.
