Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Operational Finance who will serve as a key integrator across core financial functions including billing, vendor management, accounting, and FP&A. This role will own and lead the financial processes, focusing on transparency and improved operational efficiency across the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles.
With a strong focus on process optimization and team development, the Head of Operational Finance will lead efforts to enhance team capacity, establish clear segregation of duties, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and results-oriented, with a strong background in IFRS accounting and experience in public accounting (preferably Big 4).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operational Finance Leadership

  • Balance leading the execution of day-to-day operations with implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee and streamline Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties and improved team efficiency.

Forecasting & Financial Planning

  • Lead the consolidation of the overall P&L forecast with inputs from different teams.
  • Own vendor spend forecasting and collaborate on revenue forecasting with Regional Finance.
  • Validate workforce cost forecasts with the Global Payroll team.
  • Build and refine forecasting models to support business needs.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Provide guidance on IFRS-compliant accounting treatments.
  • Conduct research on complex accounting issues and liaise with the parent company’s Consolidation team.
  • Ensure accurate and supportable financial reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across departments and geographies to ensure alignment on financial goals and data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with other team leaders within Corporate Finance department to support cash forecasting, month-end close processes, and performance analysis.

Team Development & Coaching

  • Provide hands-on leadership to the team, focusing on upskilling and development through day-to-day coaching and Excel training.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement and accountability within the teams under supervision.
  • Lead by example to elevate team productivity and analytical thinking.

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Design and implement new business processes (e.g., procurement, budget control).
  • Oversee teams managing these processes post-implementation.
  • Ensure compliance, efficiency, and scalability of financial operations.
