Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in surgical nursing and administrative leadership to join our team as the Head OR Nurse at our Non-Hospital Surgical Facility (NHSF). This role requires a dynamic leader who is proficient in all perioperative roles (scrub, circulating, and recovery room) and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hard worker who is willing to put in the hours needed to ensure the job is done to the highest standard, thriving in a smaller team environment where workplace culture and collaboration are highly valued.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
· Coordinate and provide continuous education opportunities, including CME programs, for the clinical and OR nursing teams.
· Organize group emergency scenarios to enhance team readiness and response.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
· Minimum of 5 years of OR nursing experience, including leadership or administrative roles.
· Proficiency in perioperative nursing roles (scrub, circulating, recovery room).
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
· Experience with NHSF accreditation processes is a plus.
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and team education.
· A strong work ethic and willingness to put in the necessary hours to achieve success.
