Position Title: Head Padel Coach
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000 - $79,040 + superannuation per annum, depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Padel Coach to lead and deliver
coaching programs to players of all ages and skill levels. The successful candidate
will work alongside a dynamic team of coaches to develop individual talent, manage
group training sessions, and promote the growth of padel in the region. This role is
critical to ensuring the technical and physical development of our players and
creating a professional, inclusive, and inspiring sporting environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience coaching padel or a racquet

sport (e.g., tennis)

  • Recognised coaching qualification in padel or tennis (e.g., FITP National

Padel Coach Certificate or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of padel technique, rules, and tactics
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of players, from beginners to advanced

level

  • Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a coaching team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, including weekends and

evenings

  • First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable

  • Experience coaching in Australia or internationally
  • Multilingual abilities (Italian, Spanish, etc.)
  • Social media or event promotion skills a plus
Responsibilities
  • Deliver structured padel coaching sessions for individuals and groups,

including juniors, adults, and competitive players.

  • Analyse players’ performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement,

and create tailored development plans.

  • Plan and implement game strategies and drills that align with international

coaching standards.

  • Supervise practice sessions and motivate players to reach performance

goals.

  • Organise and assist in internal tournaments, clinics, and promotional events

to grow club membership.

  • Promote safe training practices and ensure all activities are carried out in line

with club policies.

  • Represent the club in interclub competitions and events, as required.
  • Assist in the development and mentoring of junior coaching staff or

volunteers.
