We are currently seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead our Pastry Kitchen and elevate our culinary offering. YOUR DAY TO DAY Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will lead the Pastry Kitchen and support the broader Food & Beverage operation to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will: * Lead and manage the Pastry Kitchen to achieve financial and productivity targets * Maintain exceptional quality and consistency across all pastry and dessert offerings * Support menu development, seasonal promotions, and special event offerings * Contribute to the hotel’s revenue planning and marketing initiatives * Manage labour costs in line with forecasts and business needs * Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing pastry team * Foster a positive team environment aligned with our brand-defining Inspire Incredible culture. * Ensure full compliance with HACCP and WHS standards * Maintain strong supplier relationships and stay current with industry trends * Drive continuous improvement across kitchen operations and procedures WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Trade qualification(s) in Patisserie (Cert III or higher) * Proven experience in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment (desirable) * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a passion for mentoring others * Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and WHS practices * Unrestricted Australian working rights   Please note: this role involves physical activity consistent with a commercial kitchen environment.
