Description
The Head Performance Marketing & Insights is a senior, cross-functional leadership role responsible for defining and delivering paid media performance and data-driven insights that drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across the region. This role brings together paid media, CRM, analytics, and experimentation under one strategic vision to ensure acquisition, retention, and revenue goals are met with efficiency and rigour. You will lead a high-performing team, set the roadmap for data and measurement, and collaborate closely with Brand, Creative, Merchandising, Product, and Technology to turn insight into commercially impactful action. On the performance side, you will own multi-channel paid marketing (search, social, programmatic, video, affiliate, and emerging channels), budget allocation, and optimisation frameworks to deliver strong ROAS and sustainable growth. On the insights side, you will build a unified measurement stack, drive advanced analytics and experimentation, and translate complex data into simple, compelling recommendations that influence strategy and product decisions. What you'll be doing? Performance Strategy & Planning Define and own the end-to-end performance marketing strategy across paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliates, DSPs, and retargeting, aligned to commercial goals Set growth targets, budget allocation, and bidding strategies to maximise revenue, margin and long-term customer value Develop channel-specific playbooks and scaleable campaign frameworks for acquisition, reactivation, and retention Stay ahead of platform changes and identify new channel opportunities relevant to GCC markets Measurement, Data & Insights Build and maintain a robust measurement framework, including attribution models, incrementality testing, and unified reporting across channels Lead advanced analytics, customer segmentation, CLTV modelling, and channel mix optimisation to inform strategy Run A/B and multivariate experiments across acquisition and on-site journeys to improve conversion and monetisation Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for Marketing, Product, Merchandising and Senior Leadership Campaign & Operations Leadership Oversee end-to-end campaign execution: briefings, creative testing, trafficking, tracking implementation and post-campaign analysis Ensure data governance and tracking accuracy across tech stack (tagging, analytics, CDP/MMP, and BI tools) Implement scalable processes for planning, forecasting, reporting and optimisation Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure campaign assets are performance-optimised while protecting brand equity Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration Lead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary Performance & Insights team including media buyers, analysts, data engineers and CRM specialists Define clear roles, career paths and capability development to build senior-level bench strength Work closely with Product, Technology, Merchandising and Customer Experience to align roadmaps and drive cohesive customer journeys Represent Performance & Insights in senior stakeholder forums with clear, data-led narratives and recommendations KPIs & Stakeholder Management Own performance KPIs including CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, conversion rate and incremental revenue Deliver regular reporting and strategic reviews that surface trends, risks and opportunities Balance short-term performance targets with long-term brand and customer value objectives What we’re looking for... 8+ years’ experience in performance marketing, digital analytics or growth roles with responsibility for multi-channel paid media Proven track record of managing significant media budgets and delivering measurable ROI Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in attribution, experimentation and advanced analytics (SQL, Python/R, or equivalent tools advantageous) Experience with marketing tech stacks including analytics platforms, tag management, CDPs, DSPs and BI tools Demonstrable people leadership experience, building and scaling high-performing teams Commercially minded, data-led and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders Familiarity with GCC markets and cultural nuances preferred Degree in Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Data Science or a related discipline preferred
