ABOUT US
Spark Beer opened in Chinatown in 2020. We make hoppy, sour and Belgian inspired craft beer. In 2022, we added a stone hearth pizza oven and make amazing pizza pies!
We are a very small team with a focus on building up our community.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the management team
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Participate in running the business
Qualifications:
- Previous experience making pizza in a stone hearth oven
- Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and creativity
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- You must truly enjoy cooking and love food
