We are looking for an experienced and skilled Private Club Head Server to join our team! Someone who is passionate about service and loves to share that passion by going above and beyond for customers. You are looking to join a hard-working and efficient team that cares about great food, drinks, and customer experience.
To be successful as a Private Club Head Server, you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.
This will be for a private location, at one of our clients’ offices. It is a high-end service, steakhouse inspired location. The hours will be Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm, you will have weekends off but sometimes needed depending on clients’ needs or private parties.
COMPENSATION: $65,000.00 Salary (no tips)

Private Club Head Server Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, and train staff to ensure compliance and boost productivity levels.
  • Educate the staff on safety guidelines, customer service best practices, and standards for restaurant cleanliness.
  • Ensure all opening or closing duties are performed.
  • Manage dining reservations and special requests for VIP guests.
  • Cash Management and tip out tracking.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked.
  • Facilitate a positive environment and support a safe and productive workplace.
  • Balance seating guests in dining room and provide staff and owners with VIP information.
  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
  • Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages.
  • Follow all steps of service.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, managers, and fellow team members to ensure guests feel well taken care of.
  • Possess knowledge of the local area to provide relevant directions, recommendations, and resources to successfully fulfill guest requests.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary.

Private Club Head Server Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a server in a luxury establishment (Minimum of 4 years)
  • Previous management experience (Minimum 3 years)
  • Ability to memorize all menu items and ingredients, as well as daily/weekly specials
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, as well as food and wine pairings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction with a can-do attitude.
  • Have strong knowledge of health code, TABC regulations, computer/POS operations and time management.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and observational skills; Conflict resolution, and attention to detail.
  • Relevant training certifications (TABC and Food Management Certification).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
