Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As Head Server for Parker’s Tavern, you’ll pride yourself on having excellent product knowledge in both food and wine and going above and beyond to create memorable guest experiences. You will work as part of a team to serve our Guests and create exceptional experiences and exceed expectations from breakfast right through to dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return.

THE DUTIES

  • You’re the face of our guests’ experience, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a memorable experience.
  • Constantly seeking out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests. Make it your mission to ensure that every guest leaves happy.
  • Confidently deliver the key restaurant processes and standards, including our service steps, and demonstrate these consistently.
  • Have an eye for detail and very high standards when it comes to our service, hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • You’re confident in running a section, opening and closing shifts, and supervising, training, and motivating the junior members of the team.
  • You thrive on teamwork and support the management team to ensure our guests always leave with a fully positive dining experience.
  • Have full knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with the kitchen and other Team Members.
  • We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests.
