Description Head Start has an opening for a part-time Cook position working 30 hours a week. Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards, safety, preparing and storing food, maintaining accurate records for food purchases and supplies, serving meals and snacks in a family-style setting, participating in staff meetings, and staff development. Requirements Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be willing to obtain ServSafe Certification within six months of hire. Previous experience with food preparation is desirable with the ability to learn and implement food programs, if necessary. Must meet Head Start and Indiana Child Care Licensing Regulations, including Head Start Standards of Conduct, federal and state criminal history requirements, sex offender registry checks, drug screen, physical, and complete an annual T.B. test.
