Description

Description: Responsible for implementation of service areas as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards; Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework; and applicable program Policies and Procedures. Primary responsibilities include: knowledge of child health requirements, implementation of individual family partnership agreements, provide support and referrals for families, and maintain a professional respectful attitude with parents, staff, and the community.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree from accredited college or university in Human Development, Social Work, or related fields (Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Human Services, or Criminal Justice). Social Work license preferred.
Skills: Computer skills; experience in social work, case management, health, and home visiting or adult education; oral and written communication skills; accurate record keeping and reporting skills; knowledge of geographic area, agencies, and services.
Job Requirements: Work hours 40 hours per week; evening/weekend hours and overnight travel as needed; ability to travel from site to site providing own transportation; valid driver’s license; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on the job use; safe driving record; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Record Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; Initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method and thereafter as applicable; first aid card; CPR card; and food handlers card.
