We're looking for a Professional Development Coordinator & Instructional Coach to join our Head Start & Early Head Start team. This position will monitor the professional development of all Head Start staff to ensure program compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, DHS Licensing and CACFP training requirements. This position will also coach and mentor classroom staff to improve the overall performance of all WCCA Head Start & Early Head Start classrooms, along with improving the outcomes for the children who receive our services. This position will also work to establish partnerships with staff that promote the best teaching practices, curriculum implementation and effective teacher-child interactions. What you'll do: Provide knowledgeable and dependable services to the staff, communities & families that we serve Participate & provide support in all program activities Become an advocate and recruiter for all West Central Community Action Programs Provide opportunities for intense coaching to identified staff members through assessment processes Support Head Start supervisors in the onboarding and monitoring of new staff Participate, plan, coordinate, conduct, track and monitor Professional Development for all staff What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related Bachelor's degree Two years of experience in early childhood education is required An honest, reliable, professional and dependable staff member Respectful, with the ability to maintain the rights and privacy of staff, parents and children Must have a valid driver's license and current valid auto insurance This position is IN PERSON and is NON REMOTE.
