HEAD THERAPIST - ALIZÉ

Performance Medicine
Full-Time Position
We are looking for our next Head Therapist to bring support to our Performance Medicine team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing optimal rehabilitation services to Cirque du Soleil high performance artists, demonstrate all unifying principles of the Performance Medicine Department, deliver current professional practice and research specific to performance medicine. The ideal candidate for this position will have a team player mindset as well as the ability to handle contingencies under pressure, quickly adapt to unexpected situations and work with a variable schedule. They should have effective and timely communication skills to ensure the health and safety of all artist needs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree and eligibility for Berlin licensure in Athletic Training or Physical Therapy;
• Valid CPR/AED certification (additional emergency medical training and certifications preferred)
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant clinical experience (on-field/event coverage preferred);
• Experience working with high caliber athletes;
• Engagement in ongoing professional learning and development with emphasis on manual therapy techniques, exercise progression, and emergency care;
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken;
