Our clinic features: Three spacious consult rooms A dedicated surgical theatre Separate dog ward Digital X-ray and ultrasound Full in-house laboratory Thoughtful, fear-free design elements We are a busy clinic with a steady and growing client base. Our puppy preschool brings plenty of new faces through the doors each week, and we’ve built strong, long-term relationships with many of our clients. What really stands out is the team. About the role As Head Nurse, you will take a hands-on leadership role, supporting both the clinical team and day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring, and developing the nursing team Creating a positive and cohesive team environment Managing workflow in a busy clinical setting Supporting veterinarians with surgical and medical cases Performing general nursing duties including patient care, anaesthesia, pathology, and emergency support Contributing to the ongoing improvement of clinic processes and efficiency Communicating professionally with clients across all touchpoints This is a role where you’ll have real influence on team culture, clinical standards, and how the clinic continues to grow. About you You will bring: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing At least 3 years of clinical experience Previous experience mentoring or leading nurses Strong communication and organisational skills Confidence working in a busy environment A supportive, team-first leadership style A proactive and reliable approach Experience with RxWorks (desirable) Why Ellenbrook Ellenbrook offers a great balance of lifestyle and accessibility.
