POSITION SUMMARY

Newton Country Day School seeks a dynamic and experienced Head Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead one of the school’s most successful athletic programs. The Falcons have captured the Eastern Independent League (EIL) championship for the past four consecutive years and are poised to continue this tradition of excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a competitive and mission-aligned team culture. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the varsity volleyball program, including coaching, planning, mentorship, and collaboration across the Athletics Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level is required; head coaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in player development and team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of volleyball tactics, training methods, and competitive strategy.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to the mission and values of Newton Country Day School and the Sacred Heart Network.

  Pay: $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per year
