Job Title: Head Waiter / Sommelier Support
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 4800 per month + housing and transpo
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head Waiter with strong wine knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Italian outlets or Italian cuisine restaurants, be currently based in Dubai, and bring both leadership and service excellence to the role. This position combines team leadership with hands-on guest service, including occasional shifts as a sommelier.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff, with a focus on wine service and Italian dining standards.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service, handling VIP guests and special requests with professionalism.
  • Act as sommelier during selected shifts: curate wine pairings, advise guests, and support wine service.
  • Ensure all service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols are consistently met.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance the guest experience and drive service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Head Waiter or in a supervisory role within an Italian outlet/Italian cuisine restaurant.
  • Strong wine knowledge (WSET or equivalent certification is an advantage).
  • Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team.
  • Already based in Dubai and available for immediate joining.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for hospitality.
