JOB SUMMARY:

As Head Waitress at The Coaching Halt, you will lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Marston’s standards. You’ll be the face of hospitality, ensuring smooth daily operations, motivating your team, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and support waitstaff, delegate tasks, and maintain high morale.
• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Training & Development: Onboard new staff, provide ongoing training, and uphold service standards.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and running efficiently during service.
• Menu Expertise: Stay informed about food and drink offerings to assist guests with recommendations.
• Order Coordination: Ensure accurate order taking and timely delivery in collaboration with kitchen and bar teams.
• Sales Promotion: Encourage upselling of specials and premium items to enhance guest experience and boost revenue.
• Inventory Support: Monitor front-of-house supplies and assist with stock management.
• Performance Reviews: Provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve service quality.
• Conflict Resolution: Handle staff or guest issues calmly and professionally.
